Happy Fall

I'm back, not sure how consistent I'll be, and I definitely can't catch up for the last three months, but I'll post a few pictures and see if I can be a tad more consistent. No promises.

I posted back to June when we took our tenth anniversary trip to WA; splitting time between my parent's house south of Spokane and a couple only trip over to Seattle. We had a great trip.

When we got back I took each of the boys to a baseball game, Matthew went to overnight camp at Camp Id-ra-ha-je, we went camping, fishing, paddle boat riding, and horseback riding. We celebrated Tyler's 4th birthday, had lots of fun with the Plasterers, the boys started 1st grade and pre-school, and Tyler got a black eye. I got my first full day away in a long time and spent it in Estes Park. Then I attended a conference for work and got back to Estes for an evening.

Now we're into fall and all the great activities that go with this fabulous time of year. A hayride, our annual trip to Berry Patch Farms, finding costumes and of course Halloween.

Sunday is Halloween, Monday is the first day of November and Tuesday is election day. I"m not sure I like any of those. The boys have already had way too much candy. I can't believe 2010 is already winding down which means Matthew will soon be 7 and I have come to very much dislike election day and all posturing leading up to it.

So life goes on and we stay very busy with MOPS, bible study, AWANA, and an increase in my work hours and responsibility. Amongst all of that I am still struggling with health issues. Between diet changes and continued struggles with food choices and then a pinched nerve that has kept me from working out for the past three months I'm ready to be over all this. One day at a time right now.

Anyway, enjoy the photos and I hope to be back soon.

Can't....find....time....

I haven't posted a blog entry in over a month and it may be another month before I find time to get caught up. What's keeping me so busy?

The boys! We've been going and doing everywhere and everything this summer. Lots of day trips, free movies, a camping trip, vacation to Washington, baseball games, visiting Bill and working in the garden. Plus I have work and projects for the upcoming MOPS year to complete.

I'm making samples of all the crafts for the year, making the "Heat Therapy Bags" for the Mom's birthday gifts and bean bags for a little craft gift I'm giving all the Moms. Ever heard the song "Throw the Bean Bag and Catch"? We learned it at the library and I just know the Moms are going to love this little movement game they can do with their kiddos.

Tyler turns 4 in two weeks and Matthew just came back from his first overnight Camp at Camp Id-ra-ha-je. My sweet boys are getting so big and independent. It's great and yet heartbreaking at the same time.

Hopefully I'll have time to post more soon.

Preschool Closing Program

Silly Tyler - he was being Mr. Potato Head messing around before the program began.

Look at that smile!! His whole body smiles when he's happy!

Ain't gonna paint no more - the book of the year in Tyler's class. They loved getting all painted up for the performance.

Miss Marshall - Tyler's teacher

Kindergarten Graduation

Matthew had a great year of Kindergarten at Traylor Fundamental Academy. He learned to read and grew as a leader and good citizen. We are very proud of his accomplishments this year. I can't believe he is going to be in first grade in just a couple months.

Mrs. Balding - what a great teacher. She helped Matthew become a leader and earn lots of smiley faces.

Mrs. Ostrander - Mrs. Balding's Para for the second half of the year. Matthew loved the book series she read to the class.

Birthday Bash

Tyler's First Birthday party invite. Patrick had a Spiderman themed party with a wading pool, jumping castle, and pinata.

These three together equal trouble with a capital "T".

Birthday Boy Patrick - Tyler's classmate at Trinity.
