Can you answer this question? If not, or if you want to know more about worldview, I would highly reccomend a book titled "Total Truth" by Nancy Pearcey. Usually I read fiction or parenting books, but the connection between this book and a course I took in college about the life and work of Francis Schaeffer reeled me in and it has been worth reading every page. Nancy Pearcey gives an insightful background to the development of modern thought and philosophy in politics, religion, science and social issues. I am about halfway through the book (it's long), but my brain is swimming with the application of the ideas she writes about. Do you want to know how to defend what you believe or better understand how our culture got to where it is today? Then read this book!

I haven't checked the library yet to see if they have it, but I will. I'm still reading "Raising Cain", altho I haven't done much reading since Shawnie was here.
Joan, thanks for the recommendation. It's important to know at least a little bit about the differences. I love Nancy Pearcey and haven't read her stuff for a while. I'll have to check this out later. Lisa Stevens
