We decided the best way to celebrate the holiday was to go for a hike. We found an easy path in Evergreen that led us up to some rocks the boys had a blast climbing on (ok, I did too). Hiking with a 2 and 4 year old is a relative term. But we still had fun.
Tyler's 2 year old stubborness came out in all it's glory when he was trying to walk down the rocks. "I do it, I do it" he kept crying to me. 
So cute!!

Hey, I recognize that place! Hiking with preschoolers is much more like a Sunday afternoon stroll ... but if it gets us outside in the mountains, what does it matter? Looks like you had a blast!
