Cheesey Birthday

Matthew and Tyler were invited to their Christopher's birthday at Chuckee Cheese! They had a blast. I left with a headache! :-) Matthew found a game that just spewed out the tickets and they loved picking out their prizes.

Happy Birthday on Resurrection Sunday

I know, it's May and I'm just posting Easter pictures. Actually, it was Easter and Steve's birthday on the same day. Steve and I went out to eat the night before at the Cork House Wine Restaurant which was excellent. We tried to listen to the band "Papa Jukes" at El Chepoltepec 2, but the mix was so bad it drove us both crazy and we called it an early night. Of course, I forgot to bring the camera that night so didn't capture the moment.

Jumpin' Jelly Beans

The Plasterers came up from CS for a day and we met them at Paradise Playground. It was a dream come true place for the boys. They got to jump and slide and tumble in the blow up jumping castles. We had a blast!!!

There was a special ride like a parachute. Tyler loved going to the top, Matthew wasn't so sure about the whole thing.

We went to ACC for a picnic, but the wind was so cold that we scrambled into Heather's van. It ended up being a great plan as it gave us a chance to chat while the kiddos played in the back.

Wildlife Wonder

We took a ride up to Indian Hills and decided to play on the playground instead of going up to Mount Falcon. Near the end of our playtime we noticed the Elk and Deer just up the road resting under the big pine trees. I think I was more fascinated and excited than the boys. They just wanted to yell and scare them to make them run.

Silly Boys

The boys love to get naked. After a busy morning of running around the house naked Tyler fell asleep on the couch before I could get lunch into him. I couldn't resist taking this photo.

Tyler loves to talk on the phone. He asks almost every day if he can call Grandma and Grandpa.

Matthew decided to take his nap in his sleeping bag on the floor.

Tyler decided to get "handsome" and wanted to blow dry his hair all by himself.

Time for a book! He comes up with the greatest stories to go along with the pictures.

Playdough Pizza

Matthew's teacher gave us a recipe for homemade playdough. So we got all the ingredients and mixed up a batch. We'll have to use a different color of kool-aid next time, but the pink made for some good pepperoni for their pizzas.

Haircut Time

Sweet Tyler boy was looking a bit shaggy. Just a quivering bottom lip betrayed his brave front while I cut his hair. He sure is cute!

Birthday Bliss

Yup, I turned 38!!! I decided to continue my tradition of making myself a homemade birthday cake. This year I wanted carrot cake. We celebrated with a picnic at the park (72 degrees in Denver), threw rocks in the creek and walked home to have cake. I couldn't have celebrated with a better bunch!

March 3, 2009 - Steve was on a trip to Green Bay, WI to see friends Doug and Sherilyn Zerbsts. While he was away I decided to paint the living room. I got 2 out of 3 walls painted and added some new decor. I found this quote on Etsy. Life is to be enjoyed, not just endured. I like that!

Baby Delaney

Tyler and I went to visit our good friends the Whites to see the new baby. Tyler LOVES babies so he was very excited for the visit. Ashlyn and Tyler had lots of fun playing and I got to hold a two week old baby. Congrats Blair, Heather, Ashlyn and Delaney!
