There has been an attempt by a robin to nest somewhere in our yard every spring. So far that attempt has been thwarted every time and we've yet to see baby birds hatch and leave the nest. Unfortunately this year is no different. This sweet Robin laid four eggs, but something happened when I was out of town the the nest ended up on the ground. Sadly, there will be no baby birds again this year.

Mother's Day for the Birds
On an impromptu hike in Waterton Canyon we found the Adobon Sociey catching and tagging migratory birds. We learned all about an crowned warbler, yellow warbler, and house wren. Matthew and Tyler got to hold the house wren in their hands for a brief moment before it flew away. It was a very fun hike.
