More Birthday Pictures

We had lots of fun yesterday even though most of our invitees were unable to attend Tyler's 1st birthday party. Matthew was very excited that Pastor Scott was here when he woke up from nap time. Here are a few more photos of the fun had by all. As usual I was the one taking all the pictures so I am not in them.

Mountain Views

I got to go up to Grand Lake last Thursday for the CVES Technician Retreat. The four hours of driving was well worth the beautiful mountian views I got to revel in for brief time!

Monkey Boy

"On the way back" is my response whenever we pass this little exercise station along the Brear Creek trail near my house. I've been trianing to run a 5k in September. The path just south of our house is perfect for training, except that we pass the "green park" and multiple exercise stations along the way. Every one we pass Matthew asks if he can climb on it and I tell him that Momma is training for a big race and we have to wait until the return trip to stop. He does pretty good, but he makes sure I keep my word on the way home.
